Mark
Twain would have been a good mediator. Was, probably. He had
the ability to take elements from the lives of people as
different as you can imagine, weave them together, carry the
reader along a logical course based on facts and details,
and come to an ending that made sense.
The same can be done in Mediation. After 40 years of legal
experience, we understand the importance of hearing,
analyzing and following a logical course based on the facts
and issues.
We
have mediated a wide variety of cases—including personal
injury, insurance coverage disputes, commercial
transactions, business disputes, and family law. We believe
a good mediator takes a pro-active stance and a bad mediator
is little more than a messenger.
Mark Twain once said, “Always do right. This will gratify
some people, and astonish the rest.” I believe the same
spirit applies to making things right, the purpose of
mediation in the first place.
